  • Floating - Laid with steel or fibre reinforcements on to the insulating board, which in turn can be laid on to a suitable damp proof membrane. Sound, clean prepared

Screed Types we install

Sand; cement Levelling Screed

Traditional screed mixed to the specifications requirements (1;3 1;4 ect)

Characteristics

  • 8-12 hours Retarder for working time
  • Consistent quality is guaranteed

Quick Drying Screed

To enable us to offer solutions to speed up the programme and install your floor finishes quicker for hand over.

Features

  • Reduced drying times
  • Quicker drying for faster trafficking of the floor
  • Reduced drying shrinkage
  • Good resistance to construction traffic and dusting
  • Strength development earlier to withstand following trades

Flowing Levelling Screeds

Calcium sulphate based floor screed for use in all application from bonded screed, un-bonded screed or as a floating screed, on all types of developments Commercial & residential, new or refurbishment.

Used as a floating screed over thermal or sound insulation can aid in the reduction of sound and thermal performance.

Flowing screeds are highly efficient when used in conjunction with most under floor heating systems due to encasement within a solid screed (not semi-dry as sand cement).

Features

  • Minimal cracking, no curling and no construction joints Rapid strength development,
  • Trafficking in 24 to 48 hours
  • Final strength in excess of 30N/mm2
  • Application of up to 2000 m2 per day
  • Weight saving due to low design thickness
  • Environmentally friendly

SBR Polymer Screed Polymer cement

Sand levelling screeds gives increased toughness and bond properties to allow a stronger bond and aids the screed to be laid thinner

Features

  • Minimises shrinkage/cracking
  • Improves flexural strength
  • Strength development earlier to withstand following trades with more resistance and protection than traditional screeds
  • Thinner sections can be achieved

Fibres within the Screed was developed to Reduced plastic shrinkage cracking and is an Alternative to traditional reinforcement. They Improved impact, shatter and abrasion resistance by Improved residual strength and Improved durability and they are non-metallic materials to aid sensitive areas (x-ray rooms)

Acoustic & Insulation Screed

We supply and install all brands of thermal and acoustic insulation products and systems that enable our customers to solve their insulation and acoustic problems with cost effective constructions that satisfy the requirements of the Building Regulations.
